recent writing stuffs

So it's my first time participating in yueltide, and I'm really excited! Only one of my offers doesn't have a request yet, which makes me feel really good about the potential work I'm gonna be making, and all my requests have potential matches so that's hella exciting. For assignments, I'm kinda hoping to get two fandoms specifically, each with one request and one offer (mine), but I'll be cool with whichever fandom I get to write for because I've been peeping at the relevant letters and they all look great. I was thinking of adding a couple more fandoms that don't have any offers yet, but i wasn't really feeling the canons... i might go for it if any show up in pinch hits, though. As for requests, I'm just excited to be getting anything lol.

Talking about letters, it's so fun to scroll through Latest and see everyone's yuletide letters! i really like the atmosphere of this event, looks like its gonna be a super fun time!

On other news, I was basically convinced I was going to be modifying a longish natsuyuu fic i never posted for my smallfandombang piece, but i recently got hit over the head with an idea for a mushishi modern era/reincarnation au and i'm like???? strongly considering it instead??? which is really weird bc i never really gave mushishi aus a second thought since the mushishi universe is perfect as is, but this one is sort of in-universe? idk, might have to flesh it out more and see if it's even going to be 10k long, though i'm definitely going to be writing it even if it isn't.

Also i used to think 10k was impossibly long for a fic, but then I ended up writing a 12k gift for fgex and it didn't feel long at all?? help.

anyway gotta go back to finishing more stuff ugh so many things to do and i can't write them all at the same time
