Caterpillar Caught in 4k

elidelioI went out to the garden today found a few caterpillars on a mop we keep outside. Took pictures, discovered two things:
1) My suspicions were right, they're definitely some kind of tent caterpillar, probably a forest tent caterpillar if we consider distribution.
2) There's a shit ton of them in the garden, holy shit. Probably because I've been paying attention to them lately but I don't remember there being so many last year? Those little fuckers are everywhere! A cursory google search let me know that they aren't that harmful unless their numbers reach infestation levels, which I don't think is yet the case for the garden.
Gonna be keeping an eye on them, though.
