svsss abridged (not really)
Aug. 15th, 2023 23:40One of these days I have to reread scum villain's self saving system because I keep seeing such cool fanart and fanfics and just great fandom stuff but my recollection of the actual events and characters of the novel is laughably poor.
Like, as I remember it, the mc shen something reads a book and then he dies and he ends up as the villain in the book who dies a bad painful death, he wants to not die painfully, but he has a system that tells him to do the bad things. anyway he meets luo bing something who is the og mc of the novel and he has to be mean to him but he's like mean in a nice way? he's like, the though love teacher the child needed bc he was a bit of a doormat but also secretly planning to murder everyone. anyway the child falls in love with him and then he kicks the child off a cliff into hell or something because apparently the child was half demon. idk. then like five? years pass and the child comes back from hell now a hunk, mc thinks demon boy hates him but no, he's been in love with him this whole time and he's like shizun why did u kick me off that cliff... do you hate me?... uwu (but slightly evil so more like ùwú)... shit happens in the middle, the mc meets the author of the novel (whose username was like a dick joke?) who also transmigrated into the novel but as some random cannon fodder, they do many shenanigans, uh... some conspiracy stuff happens in the middle? Idk why i remember this but i'm pretty sure shen mc and dick joke author die??? but it was all according to keikaku and they had prepared spare bodies in advance?? but some time passed in between them dying and coming back and demon boy was mega upset... i don't actually remember how this shit ends or what the revelations in the story are tbh. There was a scene where the luo dude from like the og book's universe sees into the altered universe and he gets jealous that this universe's version of him is being treated nicely by his shizun.. am i remembering that right?
anyway yeah i definitely have to reread this shit but i have so many other novels on my reading list... why can't they just make a new donghua season (or a good donghua adaptation smh)
