Out The Window: Caterpillar Update

So I didn't see caterpillar buddy this morning and thought it'd finally been eaten, but I just caught a glimpse of it crawling out from a knot in the tree in front of the window, so it seems to be doing alright!

With that better glance, it looks kind of like an eastern tent caterpillar? but it doesn't match exactly. I also can't find any trace of its signature webby structure so i'm not entirely convinced the id is right... but then again, it was remarkably fast and wobbled away before I had a chance to properly examine it, i just sort of remembered it looked black with fuzzy light-coloured sides and some red(or white?) spots running down the middle. Hopefully I'll catch more glimpses of it tomorrow.

i'm nothing without spellcheck

so, my spellcheck stopped working on the software i use to write, well, everything, and it turns out i can't fucking spell at all lmao.

ok, i can spell most things, but i also make the darndest mistakes sometimes without even realising it!! holy shit!! i don't remember being this illiterate back when i still wrote in pen + paper for college, so do pray tell, what the hell happened?

It's probably a combination of me typing fast and clicking the buttons in the wrong order, and also the fact that i don't actually look at my keyboard when i'm typing? it's not touch typing, i still have the keyboard in my peripheral and glance down in the event that i get stuck with a word, but i should probably look down more to avoid all the atrocious spelling mistakes i've been committing these past few days hoo boy

anyway hopefully its a temporary thing that broke with this most recent opera update and everything goes back to working soon...
